Endurance Running With Hills Today
Two days of endurance running in a row, today with the hills incorporated (which adds the interval element to my regular endurance run).
Cardio Cardio Cardio! with sore legs, no less!
Plus a little trick to amp up your own cardio workout…
Also, you guys, I’d love to get more comments from you, particularly if you have questions or topics you’d like me to cover in my videos!! I’d welcome hearing about it all! THANKS!

About your hamstring-problems: Oftentimes its a problem of underactive glutes. Doing simple stuff like some glute bridges in your warmup might help. And if you do your deadlifts or stuff like that focus on getting the lockout with your glutes.

Hi Jackie!
I don’t know what level of fitness your readers are at, so they may be bored by hearing about beginners but if you’re looking for subject matter, I would love to hear more about fat loss, fat loss, fat loss! I have lots of it that I’m working to get rid of. You’ve covered it in your vlogs, but i never get sick of hearing about it and I love your manner of explanation on all things fitness. Right now I’ve just started doing the Jillian Michaels’ 30 day shred DVD. It has three levels and level one is kicking my booty all over the place. It’s been quite humbling to see how weak I am. The extra weight I’m carrying can’t be helping me and my flexibility is nil. My goal is to be well on my way to having arms like Jillian by summer. I know it’s probably possible, and its a challenge I’ve issued to myself. My thought is if I start with and focus on one body part that I want to change along with working all the rest of me, it gives me something to drive toward instead of just saying that I want to lose fat all over which seems too daunting. What do you think of my philosophy?

Hey Steph. thanks for the the request and I’ll make sure I get to that in the next couple of days for sure! I think your goals are commendable, and its good to have something to focus on, just remember what I mentioned about spot reducing. When you lose fat, it will be all over, not in just one area, regardless of how hard you work that one area. For me, my ultimate goal was to see my abs, but I knew in doing so, that the rest of my body would come along for the ride (which was also part of the overall plan). So, keep your eye on the prize, but be realistic about how it will be achieved!! I’ll vlog more about this very soon.
luv

Thanks Jackie! Yep, the rest of me will have to come along for the ride as much as the fat wants to stay!
