Oh No! Getting Sick! Wah
Ok, well I’m not 100% sure yet, but it looks like the devil has caught me!
Sore throat this morning, so am changing up the routine a little bit to accommodate …
… and yet MORE thoughts about the dangers of keeping track of your calories just a little bit TOO much…
… the next couple of days are intense and lengthy ‘in-studio’ work days and therefore days off … couldn’t happen at a better time, eh?
Dictated days off and time to fight the virus!
I’m determined to get back to full health by the time the work craziness comes to an end … cuz c’mon … I don’t get sick … do I?

Hey Ev. Meals today weren’t too bad. Not feeling too much guilt about it all… had some lovely sablefish and a little vino at dinner, now just heading to bed with still a sore throat. Hope to wake up in a better space in the am.

I always do baking soda. I do it every day, but especially when I’m starting to fee like something is getting to me. Simple, really, 1/4 tsp baking soda in 8 oz water, chug. Up to three a day, and the bugs don’t get me. Ask anybody who knows me. I don’t get sick.

Hey Jackie
Move to Brisbane! 32 degrees today and humid. Hot enough to build up a sweat exercising outdoors and even in the gym (did both today) as well! And it does not get real cold in winter.
Hope you are feeling better and the throat didn’t develop any further.
Now, completely off topic I know. But one thing fascinates me. Whenever it gets cold here (you know below 18 degrees..) we close all the curtains etc so that the air conditioner can warm the house up, but your videos always seem to show windows and doors etc with no coverings. How does that work?
Stay well
Terry

Hi Jackie!
Sorry you’re getting sick! What a bummer but it happens to the best of us. I haven’t gotten sick with a cold in a little while now and i’m so glad. I attribute it to the green drink I drink every day called “Emerald Balance”. Its a powder and it has EVERYTHING in it. Every fruit and veg imaginable plus a lot of other good things. Like vitamins and herbs. Nice energy kick and I really notice when I don’t drink it. It tastes pretty good too. However, the throat thing is going around my office so i know its lurking around the corner. Good news! I dropped about 7 pounds since my Dr appt last month. I’m pleased as punch. What did it? Exactly what you talked about here. I stopped being a fanatic and just ate sensibly. I think my new doses of med’s coupled with DHEA the doc told me to take for low testosterone levels I had. I had blood done yesterday so we’ll see where I’m at in a couple of days.
I can’t tell you what this has done for my morale!! I feel like a new person. One that’s not stuck and whose body will cooperate if given the right love and attention. I’m misty I tell ya. LOL!
Feel better.
xx

LOL Terry, you’re killing me here!! yes, its much warmer there. and there ARE window coverings in my apartment, but they’re all tied back permanently. I have such a beautiful view, day and night, that I just can’t bring myself to shut it out for many reasons.
:-) most of the time I even sleep with the curtains open…
