Hey everyone.

Well, as suspected am feeling a little too under the weather to record a video today!! But you can’t say I didn’t warn you!!

I had a GREAT time… we tried to record some video at the event but the lighting was just WAY too dark, you can’t see anything on the video or hear anything because of the loud music.

Sorry! I’d hoped to share a little of that with you.

Anyway, we danced all night and I now have blisters on my feet and a headache and sore throat from yelling over the music at my friends!

Subsequently, didn’t do too much today … am enjoying being in some serious recovery mode! But I hardly ever have a totally lazy day so am thinking I deserve one… don’t you agree?

Also, I was going through some other photos I had taken back in November and found a nice one that I guess I missed the first time around. So am posting it here in lieu of a video. I’m sure you’ll all forgive me??

I’ve also found a hot date to escort me to the Shorty Awards… ah Twitter! You gotta love it, such a great way to network!

A friend I met on Twitter who lives here in Vancouver is well connected and has set me up with a rather nice guy to be my ‘arm candy’ (his word, not mine!) … so am looking forward to the big trip coming up soon!!

Plus, just further to my point in Wednesday’s vlog about the USA being one heck of an expensive place to travel to for a Canadian (whose dollar is hurtin’), I’ve still got a little box at the bottom of the post. If you guys can take a peek at it and consider, I promise to show my gratitude with as much vlogging as possible while I’m in NYC! Maybe I can even sneak a moment AT the awards show if no one gets mad at me for making my own videos while all the fun is happening!
