Finger is Broken
Hey everyone.
Ok, I’ve now been to the doctor. And the x-ray lab.
Finger is broken. WHAT??!!?
Ok, now what? Maybe I should relinquish my membership in the No Whiners Club… its only getting me in trouble here!! LOL
I also took a handy little sports water bottle with me on my hillsprints today, which got me thinking about plastic and its effects again.
Check it out!
Oh, here’s the link to that Cottage Cheese Oatmeal Pancake Recipe blog post from a few posts ago, just in case you haven’t seen it yet.
Trust me, it rocks!! Healthy, nutritious and YUMMY to boot!!! (and it’s on Girlwithnoname’s “Recommended Eats” List)
Here’s today’s Workout Song of the Day … this one is one of the very best for Cardio, it has a great rhythm and some pretty cool lyrics.
Honestly though, I’ve never heard a Love and Rockets song I didn’t like and that wasn’t totally awesome for a great workout (yes, even the slower ones put me in the right mood, something about Daniel Ash’s voice and lyrics… oooo baby!!! LOL!)
LOVE AND ROCKETS – Yin and Yang (the FlowerPot Men)
Have a great day everyone. See ya soon!!

That’s a bummer about the finger :(
I’ve done a few fingers in my time and they can sometimes take a LONG time before they ‘feel’ right. Hopefully you’ll be up and going again soon, though :)
As far as the oatmeal pancakes … YUM! The wife had hers exactly as you did, but I pimped mine a bit to make them a little more ‘man-ish’…
I added a scoop of protein powder to the mixture.
I served them with blueberries (I didn’t mix them in like you did) and a small amount of maple syrup drizzled over top … Mmm
Can’t wait until your next cool recipe you stumble upon!
Get better soon :)
