Mindset is King
Okay you guys. Here it is.
MINDSET
Yes, I’m hammering home THIS point again.
Seriously … if you are trying to lose weight or improve your fitness level and you’re doing it by white-knuckling through all these diets and fitness routines and hating every minute of it, then you have one BIG DOWNFALL in your plan. You haven’t mastered getting the right mindset firmly implanted in your head yet … and let me tell you, that is a recipe for eventual failure.
Get Mindset, Get Fit. End of Story.
I have a couple of clients out there that really made me think hard about this one on my run today, so thank you to Robyn and Jay for inspiring this post.

Thanks!,great post Jackie! It is true, if you don’t have determination to change bad habits and procrastinate (all which I am guilty of) you will never reach fitness and weight loss goals.
Before I met Jackie the most weight I had ever lifted in free weights was 8lbs and yesterday with Jackie I lifted 20lbs!!!! I am so excitied to reach my goal in weight loss and fitness, of course, I wish I were there now but it took years to get as out of shape as I was when I met Jackie so my ultimate goal will not happen overnight.
Working out with a Personal Trainer is a financial commitment but I beleive you can’t put a price tag on health and well being. What I had been trying have been doing the past 2 years by myself had not been working.
Jackie, you are truly an inspiration to work out with and so much fun. I really appreciate that you are caring about my past injuries and get me to work out and strengthen what I thought I never could. Already, I have broken a lot of psychological barriers I had put up around myself. I highly recommend if you are ready to change yourself working out with Jackie you will. I am excited to see where this journey leads me…
