The Drumbeat of Fitness
Hey everyone. A wonderful and sunny day in Vancouver today is what’s going to get me out for an extended powerwalk with a pal on the Stanley Park Seawall in an hour or so.
Man, I can’t wait!!
I had a few thoughts about exercise and progression yesterday as I was doing my stairwells …
You guys who are just starting out with new goals this year, don’t give up and get frustrated just because you feel you’re not able to go for long periods or with heavy resistance… YET!
“YET” IS THE OPERATIVE WORD HERE!!
Keep plugging away and it will happen.
Be determined and be persistent.
You’ll get there.
And THAT is a GUARANTEE!
And, as I mentioned in the video, today’s Workout Song of the Day is about as tied in to the post as I’ve ever been able to get a song to tie-in to a post! haha.
I told you when you saw the title you’d understand!
Besides, it’s an awesome cardio song. Great beat for driving yourself forward all the faster.

Don’t forget, a click or two of the mouse starting on the Buy button on the player widget gets you your copy fast (and cheap too). Enjoy!
Short ‘n sweet today, that sunshine is out there waiting for me, and I refuse to make her wait …
*zooooooommmm*
Have a fit, fun and fantastic day, and we’ll see you again soon!

Well Jackie, This was absolutely the bestest ever pep talk you have given. You are right, it was almost like you were talking directly to me! Wow! I even like your song de jour “Blood Makes Noise”. I hear that bumping sound all the time, and I thought it was just my brain rolling around in my head. I learned something. Thank you for making me feel special, that was nice. Really. Tom
