Woot! Friday!
I think I’m actually gonna get a little time off this weekend (for a change), so I’m gonna make this one quick and get out into the sunshine to play …
Yes, I know I’ve beaten the subject of ‘Slumps’ into the ground a little, but I JUST got back from my run in the sun and I absolutely had to share one more piece of PROOF that it’s worth it to stick it out through a slump.
Surely, you’ll pardon my appearance…
So, I DON’T CARE if you’re in a slump. STICK WITH IT!! You will NOT be sorry, long term. It’s WORTH IT.
Ok … end of subject, I promise!! LOL
Oh, and just so you know, I now use my handy little Gymboss Interval Timer to keep accurate track of my running times. Turns out the thing has a stopwatch function, too. Just set it and forget it and enjoy your cardio session knowing you’ll see how you clocked in at the end.

Workout Song of the Day
I couldn’t resist posting this one. I chose it because of the name, and that I felt like I’d rediscovered Paradise today on my run. Please take the lyrics as a tongue-in-cheek “poke” and not to be taken seriously.
It’s an old club song from my halcyon days as a club kid back in the … well, never mind. I find it great for running because of the awesome drum-machine beat. Hopefully you will, too!
