Beware Misleading Nutrition Labels
I saw something on a nutrition label today that made me see RED!
Nutrition labels, I find, are usually pretty straight forward.
HOWEVER, those ‘serving size’ and ‘calories per serving’ sections can be pretty damn misleading if you don’t keep a close eye on exactly what they’re counting as a “serving”.
PAY ATTENTION or you could inadvertently sabotage your efforts without even knowing it.
And how frustrating would it be to think you’re doing everything right, when some doofus responsible for listing your nutrition information is misleading you (possibly on purpose)?
You’ll know exactly what I mean by this statement after you watch this:
REMEMBER: its the information on the Government Nutrition Label that you should pay attention to. Not the stuff on the front of the package.
Keep your eyes peeled for conflicting information and go by what’s on the Government version and nothing else.
