A Five Hour Workout?
Hey gang.
Sorry I’ve been MIA lately.
I’ve been working like a madman on back to back projects that have left me little time for fun stuff like blogging and monkeying around online!
Drat. I LIKE monkeying around online!!
*pout*
But, here’s a quick update about my upcoming “Hot at Home” book.
Plus, I fill you in on what kept me working out in my livingroom today for FIVE FREAKING HOURS!!
Phew… But not really.
Ha Ha. Intrigued?
No? Well, you can check it out here anyway…
So, like I said: even if it takes forever, getting it done is better than NOT getting it done at all.
Here’s the post where you can get onto the Hot at Home Early Bird’s list (which I’m closing soon now, I swear! New webmaster!! woo hooo)
Have a fit, fun and fantastic day.

I like reading your blog. You’ve got some excellent tips for staying in shape.
I’d like to share a tip of my own. I’ve never been a gym junkie. I hate treadmills and dread free weights. But one thing I do enjoy is walking.
I rarely set foot in a gym but I walk whenever possible: to work, to grab the groceries, to pick up my kids from school, to and from a restaurant etc etc. You get the idea. I am in the best shape of my life, just from using my own two feet!
I realize this isn’t possible for everyone. If you lived in Kelowna for example, a car is completely necessary. But for me (I live in a Summit House loft, Morgan Crossing, South Surrey) walking everywhere is a cinch. Morgan Crossing is extremely walkable. I literally never use my car anymore.
OK, I’m rambling on. Thanks for your great fitness tips. I am still a walker at heart, but will try to incorporate some new forms of exercise into my daily life.

Thanks Corrine. I totally agree with you about walking. I think it’s an awesome way to stay fit and it burns fat like mad… And yes, you’re also right it shouldn’t be the ONLY thing you do. I firmly believe that strength training should be part of everyone’s fitness routines.
thanks for chiming in!
