Playing Mind Games With Yourself
THE MIND !
It’s an extremely strong tool.
You can let it work AGAINST you …
* I don’t want to work out today *
* It’s too hard *
* I’m too tired *
* I don’t have time *
OR … you can train it to work FOR you …
Yup, play mind games with yourself.
It’s a great way to trick yourself out of talking yourself out of it when the time comes to actually go work out.
Get your head firmly wrapped around what you’ve got planned for yourself.
Then take the necessary steps to make sure you can’t forget.
Keep it top of mind until the time comes …
Really psyche yourself up …
Get excited …
Then GO FOR IT!
Have a fit, fun and fantastic day.

You’re gonna need a timer for all those interval training sessions you’ll be doing:

I have to agree that when I’m psyched up to do a certain thing and it unavailable for some reason anything else seems like a let down and I usually find I can’t put my heart into it in the same manner.
On your point about clothes i have managed to “train” my daughter to the extent that when I get home from work she will already have my workout clothes on the bed and she has put my trainers on the coffee table. It damn hard to not go when a two year old is pushing you out the door.

HAHAHAHA MATT!!! I LOVE THAT!!!
Perfect way to make sure you get out there ‘n get ‘er done eh?
Great way to instill some core values about fitness into your youngster too. I wish every parent, whether they’re into working out or NOT, would find a way to instill that in their kids. This planet would be in much better shape overall if we raised our kids with these values.
