They’re Making It Too Easy For Us To Be Fat!
Nope. It’s still not Summer here in Vancouver.
So, since I couldn’t go to the beach last weekend, I decided to go shopping for some new clothes instead.
What I experienced made me sad, and a little dismayed.
And a whole lot FRUSTRATED!
“They” are making it WAAAAY too easy for us to feel okay about being FAT!
And I just don’t think that’s cool.
And on top of that, they’re helping us HIDE our fat from the world so we can put ourselves even further into denial …
… instead of getting off our asses and DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT !!
Like, working out perhaps? Eating right? Gee, what novel ideas.
Yup, I already admitted I’m frustrated.
Well, thanks for listening while I got THAT off my chest.
Now shoo… stop lingering in front of the computer and go get a good, hard workout in, wouldya?
Why be a victim of THEM ?!
Don’t get complacent.
Don’t just settle into doing what’s easy.
Do what’s RIGHT for you!!
Don’t let “THEM” win!
And you’ll be a whole lot more comfortable and healthier (and look better) as a DIRECT result.
Rant over. LOL ! I’m outta here til next time.
Have a fit, fun and fantastic day.

Yah, I had the same experience this past weekend. We were out of town and did some outlet shopping and I could not believe I am a size zero, but apparently nowadays I am?!?!?! When I was a teen and in my young 20s I was significantly smaller than I am now (and yes, I’m slim and fit and cut now, but I was skinnier then), and I was a size 5 or 6 (depending on juniors sizes or misses). Kinda crazy because I’m not that tiny and it’s even so hard to find clothes in that size on the rack (most of them are the larger sizes) but what do the really tiny women wear?

Sheila: damn good question. I have no idea. How do you get smaller than ZERO? Size -1, -2? thats just freaking ridiculous.
thanks for the comment

I’ve always been always on the border of being either a plus size or not(thanks to my frame) in either a 12-16 depending on the cut.
And a while back I was in a store and the only pants I could fit was a 22.. I was in mega shock and very annoyed that I returned all the clothes I was gonna purchased and walked out.

That’s interesting. the opposite of my experience.
why’d you let that make you get annoyed tho? Obviously clothing sizes are different than they used to be… but this is the exact reaction that I fear is what is causing the marketers to shrink the numbers for clothing sizes…
