Out-Training a Bad Diet
Hey everyone!! Hope your week is going great.
I’ve been jumping around like a Mexican jumping bean but just stumbled on a FABULOUS video on my wanderings through cyber-space.
I don’t know how many times I’ve said “you can’t out-train a bad diet” to you here, so am ecstatic to find such an awesome demonstration of this very concept. I just had to share it with you.
And its great for a good laugh too!
As you probably already know, I love Craig Ballantyne’s publications. If you want to see more from him you should definitely get his Turbulence Training manual!!

If cardio is such a joke, why was he out of breath so quickly? I say get on that treadmill until you’ve conquered it. Then make your jokes.
That said, they make a great point about the importance of diet. You know those people who always refer to any amount of physical activity as “good for one’s health” or “burning off [insert meal here]”? They tend to be very, very round. =)

yup. I agree. as much as I love TT and the body weight exercises, I totally believe in cardio… high intensity, low intensity, intervals. mix it up for a well-rounded fitness routine.
and yup, agree again. Don’t expect magic from your body as long as your dumping garbage into it. Pay attn to what you’re putting in, cuz ultimately garbage IN = garbage OUT!
thanks for the comment Seth. Totally 100% valid points and I agree wholeheartedly. You rock!

Yep, I’ve never understood the passion for cardio bashing either. It worked really well for me and still does. I love doing cardio and I find ways to make it as fun as possible.
