Your Personal Trainer is NOT Your “Workout Buddy”
NEW RANT!
Yah, you guessed it.
I went to another commercial gym, just to change things up.
Ever notice how every time I go to one of these gyms, I have something new to vent about?
When you workout with a Personal Trainer, what’s your expectation?
Do you expect to get a good workout? Of course!!
Do you expect the Personal Trainer to get a good workout, too?
I hope your answer to that one isn’t “Yes” !!!
Here’s what ticked me off this time:
So, what is up with Personal Trainers who think it’s okay to get their own workout in on YOUR time and YOUR dime?
GRRRRRR !!!!!
FOR THE RECORD: Your Personal Trainer is NOT supposed to act like your Workout Buddy!!
If you work with a Personal Trainer, expect them to be there for YOU, not for themselves.
After all, you’re PAYING them for their time, right?
So get what you paid for, or fire their ass!
…and hey, Personal Trainers, take note, wouldya? If you’re working yourself out during your client’s paid-for time, then SHAME ON YOU for ripping them off.
’nuff said.
Have a fit, fun and fantastic day.

Fully agree with you..especially with the first trainer you mentioned…leaving the guy to go do his own thing-BAD. However, not actually knowing anything about the senond guy and his client-it’s possible they had something worked out-maybe she was getting a discount so he could in fact get his work out in…maybe she’s his best friends sister….ya never know…I’m just sayin’…. ;-0
But with the first scenario…that is just wrong…full stop.
cheers hon!

you make such a good point and if i could afford the gyms and trainers i would but the gyms are too pricy even the area fitness place which waves their enrollment fee each january is still 60 a month thats beyond my income
if a trainer wants to do a few reps in he should be doing it on the one next to them with them then stop and make sure there doing it right, get yoru workout in before or after your sessions
